The Business Challenge
With business clients disseminated across multiple countries and on-the-go professional staff, INTLMS executive team was seeking a robust and easy-to-use collaborative technology that would be available anywhere at anytime, from a client site desktop or a hotel room. At the same time, such solution should provide for enhanced messaging and scheduling, and as importantly for document folders that could be securely accessed by clients or firm's associates. Microsoft Exchange soon appeared to be the ideal solution to answer these needs. INTLMS was up and running with ASP-One's hosted Exchange in a matter of a few hours and started right away to populate public folders with historical data for each clients. Since June 2003, INTLMS has been a pilot site for Windows Sharepoint Services and is currently considering switching the extranet usage of Exchange folders to Sharepoint.
